My family and I would like to pay tribute to the woman who brought my husband to this world ---- NANAY. Nanay is Tagalog term for Mother.
The top and lower part of the layout has layered tearing on it. I don't have a paper distresser so I used my scissors to distress the circle then inked the sides of it. I also tore bits of the edge to make it more distressed.

I love how the circle draws the eye to the photo. And I really love the paper tearing and distressing effect, especially at the top. The muted colours with the burst of yellow looks fabulous!
